For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin — real life.
But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first,
some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid.
At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.
This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness.
Happiness is the way.
So treasure every moment you have and remember that time waits for no one.
Happiness is a journey, not a destination.

Happiness is the way.
Its all I can fit into my life right now, there is only so many sunsets left in a lifetime to spend them not feeling happy. I am really trying to make pebble a gem right now, and look like a drink expensive wine on an Arbor Mist budget; Life is tricky right now——and I got tricks.
This quote pegs me because I am waiting to find out about my placement in graduate school, and until that day comes I could just go through the life-y motions, but instead I am taking this time to live the life I didnt know I had outside of school, the mind outside of a textbook, outside of e-mails and deadlines. I forgot about how many things make me happy, and school is not the only thing—-for the most part school doesnt make me happy—but the idea is that it will pave the way to happiness through a family I can support and vacations I will never stop taking—even if its in my backyard.
Happiness is here and Its here to stay.
